Vintage Frye's Measure Mill SHAKER BOX Old Time Woodenware is Hand Painted from Wilton, New Hampshire. There is an impressed mark on the inside bottom of the box identifying the maker. The grace and simplicity of Frye's Measure Mill handcrafted fingered lap box marks the Shaker concern for both detail and proportion. Shaker boxes are made of native American maple, hand bent around wooden shaping molds, and fastened with copper tacks. Hand rubbed water resistant finish is applied.

Artisan made in the USA at Frye's water powered mill since the 1850's. Although lovingly cared for, there are two very minor scratches on the lid as noted in the photos. From a Pet free, smoke free home.
