Vintage Russian Hand Painted Lacquer Metal Trinket Jewelry Box Woman In Red 6. Painting is highly detailed and delicate fine art painting of a woman in traditional dress featuring a beautiful red apron style long overdress with an embroidered white blouse underneath. She has a headdress with a translucent lace veil flowing behind. She is standing gracefully in a grassy spot, holding a single flower. In the background is a tree with clusters of red flowers, and green shrubs.

The painting is framed with gold decoration. The box has a gold design around the sides.

The box lid is domed, and both lid and box are red lacquer inside. There is minimal wear to this box. Note the 1 area of rippled black paint on the left side of the lid (see photos) and nearby a small section of missing gold trim.

The edges of the lid inside have some very minimal wear. Bottom of box is in excellent condition. There are no dents, scratches, or repairs observed.
