Hand Crafted Painted Dresser Box with Bird

This lovely box was found in the estate of a local artist. The box is very clearly a one-of-a-kind piece with inlaid corners and custom hinge.

The lid has been hand painted with a bird and has a small hand crafted branch that opens the box. The piece is a testament to the craftsmanship of both artists as the wood is smooth as silk and the bird is very life-like. The condition of this box is excellent.
