Description: French gilt and silver plate casket or jewelry box, 19th century. Raised garland and musical motifs to the side, lid with hand painted images under glass panels depicting scenery with a courting scene, artist signed S Jolly. Interior lined with beige felt, locks with key. 13 inches x 9.375 inches x 5.75 inches tall. Very good condition, light wear and surface scratches to silver plate exterior, wear to interior lining.
