Fedoskino Fairy Princess Hand Painted Wooden Carved Russian Mother Of Pearl Box

You are Viewing a Fedoskino Lacquered Russian Carved Wooden and Mother of Pearl Trinket Box. It has a beautiful princess standing in waves with angels watching over her with doves and butterflies flying behind her. There are young nude girls sending her a farewell as she leaves to meet her handsome prince. Inside the lid/shell are cupids looking into a glass gazing ball at a nude romance of a man and woman. It measures about 3 inches tall, 4.5 inches front to back, and is 6.25 inches wide. There is a "Mother of Pearl" shell applied to a wooden hinged box. It is marked inside Fedoskino Pegockuno. There is a signature on the artwork inside the shell Xya FoaAoBa. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Please see my other listings for more antique and collectible items.
