Christmas Russian Hand Carved Large Wooden Santa With Angel & Child Signed New

This is a wonderfully detailed large Russian Santa figure. This Santa is hand carved from aged dried linden wood and hand painted and beautifully finished using a flat matte finish. The Santa has been painted in very pretty almost water color paints that gives it a very soft look.

The front has a very beautifully detailed scene of an angel giving a gift to a young child, he measures 10" X 5 1/2" and is signed on the bottom. I have been lucky to have been able to collect some wonderful Russian Santa's, but I need to scale down the group.
