1850 an exquisite French Antique Gilt Bronze Musical Jewellery Box; the lid with a hand-painted miniature of a beautiful lady bordered by. Garlands of delicate bronze flowers. All around the base is a profusion of gilt bronze pillars with floral centres and bordered with stunning gilt bands. The interior is pink padded damask. The enchanting music is wound by a fixed key at the base and plays a full yet delicate air which can be heard in the short video. Approx 4 inches tall x 5 inches diameter.
