Gorgeous antique hand painted enamel hinged trinket box with scene of a red figure riding on white horse. There is landscape scene in background. Box is signed "VP" with a curved X mark on the bottom. It has a half-shield shape with curved sides fully painted with flowers and wreaths. There is a small chip at front bottom edge, not easily noticed and otherwise very good.
