Lot of 5 Russian Lacquer Paper-Mache Boxes, all Hand Painted and Signed, made in the early 1990's. All were used for display only. All interiors are clean and show no wear. The largest box measures 5 1/2" X 3 1/4" X 1 1/2 tall and shows crackling on the top in 5 places and crackling on the bottom. The largest oval box measures 5 1/4" X 3 1/4" X 1 1/2 tall. Crackling on the top (not as bad as the previous box), no crackling anywhere else. The round box with the river and boat measures 3" across X 1 7/16" tall and shows one crackle on top and one on the bottom.

The oval box with the winter scene measures 4" X 2 3/4" X 1 3/4 tall and is without issue. The smallest box measures 2 3/4" X 2" X 1 3/8" tall and has one small 1/2" thin line of craquelure. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Cultures & Ethnicities\Russian".
