Stunning Antique French Enamel Brass Jeweled and Hand Painted Pill/Patch BOX. This is one of the most beautiful boxes that I have ever seen, and we sell a lot of patch/pill boxes. The inside and the rim is done with beautiful decorative brass. The top has gorgeous blue enamel that looks like guilloche, it is so brilliant. The center is porcelain with hand painted flowers, it is surrounded by opal type bezel set stones. Under the brass is more beautiful blue enamel and a ring of 2 rows of the opal stones, and porcelain hand painted flowers. The bottom of the case is spectacular, and once again looks like guilloche. Case opens and closes as it should.

Case has not been polished or cleaned. In the back, under the hinge is a very small area where the opal stones are missing as there is a tiny chip. There are no hallmarks on the piece.
