The bronzework is very finely done and detailed with interesting textures on various surfaces. The dore gilding is in excellent antique condition with a warm antique patina that is very lovely. All of the Sevres porcelain panels are, of course, hand painted. The portrait is very finely painted.

Of the several hundred white and red fine enamel beads we can see only ten missing. The inside liner is thin hand cut wood pieces and the bottom dust cover is silk.
