This is a nice early example of a German hand painted toy that has retained it's original paint and works well. Please look at pictures as they give a true representation of condition. A small stabilizing wheel may be missing below the tail - I had not noticed this until taking the detailed pictures.

It does not affect the movement of the Turtle. Although unmarked the movement, subject matter and box are typical of turn of the century Issmayer animal toys.
